Nutritional Epidemiology

Nutritional epidemiology studies the relationship between diet and health outcomes in populations. It uses dietary assessments and biomarkers to understand the role of nutrients, foods, and eating patterns in disease prevention. This field informs public health guidelines and interventions to reduce the burden of diet-related diseases and improve population health.
